Khatam Al-Quran in Edinburgh ♥ (6-7thApril2013)

Assalamualaikum wb, Hi everyone. 

On the 6th of April 2013, 11 of us went to Edinburgh, Scotland for Majlis Khatam Al-Quran in collaboration with Brunei Edinburgh Society, Newcastle, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Stirling and EMSA. 

Our train was at 6.30am and it took us around 2 hours to reach Edinburgh.

Well, from the train station to Heriott Watt University we used taxi and it took us approximately 45 minutes to arrive. It was at 8.45am. After all initial preparation, while waiting for the guest of honour, it was time to take pictures ! 

At 11am, the recitation of Ayat-Ayat Lazim was started as the guest of honour, Cikgu Kamaliah Binti Haji Abdul Rahman and cikgu azizah hj md tuah arrived. 

We stayed a night and a day to explore Edinburgh, a city with a lot of historical places. Enjoy the pictures.

Finally, time to go home. We departed at 8pm, and arrived Newcastle around 10.35pm. Played games in the train and Alhamdulillah it was a successful event, plus enjoyable and thats about it.
