Assalamualaikum and hello!

On 10th of March, BNS has sent our four members (including me) collaborated with two members of Brumingham Society to join the competition at Manchester.

Alhamdulillah, congratulations to all of them for getting 2nd place and went home with a trophy, £200 and certificates.

Angel of the North

Assalamu'alaikum and hello!

On 2nd March, BNS has organized a small trip to the Angel of the North located at Gateshead which is claimed to be the largest angel sculpture in the world.

It is a steel sculpture of an angel, 20 metres (66 ft) tall, with wings measuring 54 metres (177 ft) across. The wings do not stand straight sideways, but are angled 3.5 degrees forward.

It only takes 20 minutes bus ride from the city centre to reach there. We had a small photo session there and just enjoyed the view. But ultimately, we brought the Brunei flag with us!
